For Janssen, one big tip would be to "understand the journey" and make sure the technology works for the business model that the adviser has in place.
Other suggestions included going onto social media forums where other advisers discuss how they are using technology and what is working best for the sort of firm that they have in place.

"Work out what works for all of your customer journey, and see if you can find something that is going to work for existing and new clients", added Jannsen.
