Protection broker Lifesearch has become the exclusive advisory arm of life insurance provider Neilson Financial Services.

The partnership will see Lifesearch’s team of 240 protection advisers support Neilson’s customers through its owned and operated brands.

These brands include Smart Insurance, Post Office, British Seniors and Cover Today.

Lifesearch said it will support those who are seeking guidance and advice and those who may have health issues or did not meet Neilson’s product criteria but there is a definite protection need.

Lifesearch chief executive, Debbie Kennedy, commented: “While the digital journey is critical in today’s protection market, advice is paramount. Our 25-year track record of delivering high-quality specialist advice will ensure protection conversations can take place whenever they are needed.”

Neilson Financial Services managing director, Rob Clarkson, added: “We are looking forward to working with Lifesearch in support of ensuring our customers are given every opportunity to secure the protection they need.”

The partnership follows the continued expansion of Lifesearch's offering in the UK after the announcement of 'Powered by Lifesearch' earlier this year.

Powered by Lifesearch will give partners access to the Lifesearch offering including tele-interviews for subjects such as customer disclosure, pipeline management, and quality monitoring.

Lifesearch stated this solution will "help power" the shift by providing digital ecosystems with the necessary tools to make protection products a seamlessly integrated offering within their customer applications.
